The YS family donates 250,000 kroner to the TV campaign

YS, together with the YS unions, has donated 250,000 kroner to the TV campaign. – The funds from this year's TV campaign go to Save the Children's important work for children affected by war and conflict. Unfortunately, this has become terribly relevant with the conflict in the Middle East and the war in Ukraine. I encourage everyone to support this year's TV campaign, says YS leader Hans-Erik Skjæggerud.

– Millions of children are now affected by war and conflict. The list of areas where wars are raging is almost endless; Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and not least Gaza. Children are extremely vulnerable, and every day children are killed and injured. This year's TV campaign will provide help to children in many war zones, and it is work that YS supports, says the YS leader.

This year's TV campaign will provide education to children in war zones, help reunite children with their families, create safe play areas, reintegrate child soldiers and help children process trauma. The money will be distributed between projects in Ukraine, Syria, Bangladesh, South Sudan, DR Congo and refugee children in Norway.

– Save the Children is a professional organization with many years of experience from war zones around the world. In a time of increasing conflict and unrest, it is extremely important that we help as many children as possible. I therefore encourage everyone to support the TV campaign, both with money, but also by becoming a gun carrier, says the YS leader.
